  My Bible arrived before schedule. It was protected in shrink wrap. The cover is a beautiful soft leather. The pages are beautifully gilded in gold. The font is easy to read and the footnotes make great references and commentary to aid in understanding key verses. It has wonderful color maps and different prayers for saints. The reading cycles are handy. There is a list for the succession of Popes through Benedict XVI. Before each book in the Bible there is a preface detailing the book and some historical content. I mean it is THE BIBLE, nothing negative to say. I would purchase again for a gift and would highly recommend buying it. (Posted on 4/9/2015)
