Father Dolindo Ruotolo
A very spiritual treatise for the month of May
Daily Meditations for a Profound Reform of Heart in the School of Mary
This little book, A Month with Mary, was written by an Italian holy priest Father
Dolindo Ruotolo (1882-1970). Originally written as spiritual thoughts to his
spiritual daughter, the work is comprised of thirty-one meditations for the
month of May.
Father Dolindo wrote A Month with Mary on pocket-sized pages joined into small
fascicles of 8 to 12 pages. He sent them to Laura de Rosis every two to three
days and later transcribed them with some modifications in volume III of his
autobiography: The Story of My Life in the Plan of the Great Mercy of God, pp.
1140ff (cf. Epistolario 1:212n, 218n). This work is from 1912: one of those
years which passed in the life of Father Dolindo with the cadence of a "Way
of the Cross" ... But he, serene as ever, loved Christ the more, loved
Our Lady the more and reflected on this love in these few pages to which he
wished to give the significant title: A Profound Reform of Heart in the School
of Mary. These meditations are written in the style of the Imitation of Christ.

A treasure of biblical scholarship
A scholarly, easy to read book tracing Mary’s presence in the Old Testament,
through prophecies, fi gures and symbols, to Mary’s role in the New Testament,
where we see the many instances and places where Mary is found working beside
her Divine Son. A clear, concise exposition (all Biblical) which shows clearly
Mary’s place in the economy of Salvation. The author is well known in
Italy for his scholarship and leadership in founding the Franciscans of the
Immaculate.
(ID: AIB-AG001, 393 pp, perfect bound)
“Fr.
Manelli has successfully conjoined exegesis and theology to give us a work of
great importance. His study is not a dogmatic theology dressed up in exegetical
garments, but a progressive exposition of the gospel message about our Lady.
It is a book worthy of praise to be recommended to the specialist, to the student,
and to educated Catholics in general.”

Informative and yet simple to understand
This excellent, handy treatise (125 pages) covers the rich and profound references
to Mary, as prefigured in the Old Testament women and prophecies and as found
in the New Testament, at the momentous events of Salvation History, from the
Annunciation to Pentecost. In keeping with the Church's long tradition of placing
Mary's role in the center, beside her Divine Son, through legitimate Scriptural
interpretation, the author demonstrates a number of times how Scripture supports
Mary's role as Mediatrix of All Graces. The coverage of the historicity of the
Infancy Narratives in the Gospel is particularly good in answering Scriptural
scholars who attempt to discredit what the Church has always held as historically
true.

Answering the confusion on Marian Mediation
Is it True to say that Mary is Coredemptrix, Mediatrix of all Graces and Advocate?
The central theological issue of the last half-millenium and still the most
hotly debated article of Catholic doctrine is that of Marian Coredemption. Dr.
Miller, a retired London physician, sets the disputed points in perspectives
and helps the non-professional to understand why the doctrine is true and eventually
worthy of belief.
SKU: AIB-MM025 ,175pp paperback.
"The fruits of Dr. Miller's study and meditation are in part found in this
easy to read, yet very thorough examination of the reasons why it is absolutely
reasonable to believe in the Virgin Mother's universal mediation.'

A comprehensive and scholarly study
Fr. Rosini has, perhaps for the first time, provided a complete, well-balanced
exposition of Scotus on Our Lady, with all the many inter-connections between
the mystery of Mary and the whole of theology, illustrating plainly how the
subtle resolution of the most complex of theological questions was not something
achieved prior to any consideration of Mary, but exactly to the contrary: by
meditating “in the spirit of prayer and devotion” (St. Francis of
Assisi) on the Blessed and Immaculate Virgin in the mystery of Christ and the
Church (Lumen Gentium, ch. 8, title).

Peter Damian Fehlner, FI – Translator,

"Finally, an in-depth study of mariology from a Franciscan, scotistic perspective
in English! In the Mariology of Blessed John Duns Scotus Fr. Rosini starts from
above—from the divine counsels that first predestined Christ and His Immaculate
Mother to glory in an absolute manner (sin or no sin)—and then proceeds
to unveil the profound truths about Mary in her relation to Christ, herself
and to us. An intellectually demanding treatise, to be sure, but guaranteed
to deepen one’s knowledge and love for His and our Immaculate Mother."
Fr.
Maximilian Mary Dean, FI – Author of A Primer on the Absolute Primacy
of Christ
"The invaluable insights of the genial and saintly John Duns Scotus must
be renewed in our own day, especially in light of their extraordinarily positive
mariological ramifications. The absolute predestination of Mary juxtaposed with
the Incarnation constitutes a “mariological Copernican revolution,”
and demands the attention of every serious student and professor of mariology."
Dr.
Mark Miravalle, Professor of Mariology, Franciscan University of Steubenville
"We salute the Mariological achievement of Fr. Rosini. He has, perhaps
for the first time, provided a complete, well-balanced exposition of Scotus
on Our Lady, with all the many inter-connections between the mystery of Mary
and the whole of theology, illustrating plainly how the subtle resolution of
the most complex of theological questions was not something achieved prior to
any consideration of Mary, but exactly to the contrary: by meditating “in
the spirit of prayer and devotion” on the Blessed-Immaculate Virgin in
the mystery of Christ and the Church."

A compendium of scholars' work on Mary
With so much attention focused today on whether the Church should define the
long-standing traditional teaching of the Church that Mary is the Mediatrix
of all Graces, this symposium on Marian Coredemption addresses supporting evidences
for its definition. The week-long symposium, which took place at Ratcliff College
in England, had 18 conferences beside a prayerful "retreat" which
included Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary and the Little Hours of the Office. Many
wellknown Mariologists gave papers, such as: Bishop Paul Hnilica, Fr. Bertrand
De Margerie, S.J., Dr. Mark Miravalle, Fr. Stefano Manelli, F.I., Fr. Aidan
Nichols, O.P., Mother Francesca Perillo, F.I., Msgr. Arthur Calkins, and Fr.
Peter Damian Mary Fehlner, F.I., who was the moderator, introducing the speakers.

The 150th anniversary of the proclamation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception
occasioned the theme of this volume. The mysteries of Mary are so intertwined
that each of them sheds light to one other. This is the case between the Immaculate
Conception and Marian Coredemption. A typical Franciscan thesis, the articles
in this series reiterates that only she who is perfectly redeemed (Immaculate
Conception) has a unique active role in the redemption of Christ. only one who
is fullness of graces, in the words of St. Maximilian, can distribute and mediate
them to souls.

Mary Coredemptrix in the Eucharistic Mystery
Catholics always believe that there is a close association between the mystery
of Christ in the Holy Eucharist and the mystery of Mary. This “sense of
faith” is given theological and doctrinal exposition in this exciting
new volume of Mary at the Foot of the Cross - VI: Marian Coredemption in the
Eucharistic Mystery.
Originally presented as Acts of the Marian symposium in England in the year
of the Eucharist 2005, this precious collection of articles presents profound
insights on the relationship between Marian Coredemption and Eucharistic mystery.
Articles such as the late John Paul II’s teachings on Mary’s Presence
in the Mass, Mary and the Eucharist in John of the Cross, St. Louis Grignion
de Montfort, Adrienne Von Speyer, St. Veronica Giuliani, are only some of the
most inspiring thought on the subject matter compiled in one decent volume.
Ideal for scholarly research written by theologians and scholars, this volume
is also accessible to non-professional readers as well. A must reading on the
central truth of our Catholic faith: Mary and the Holy Eucharist.

Coredemption as Key to a Correct Understanding of Redemption
Originally presented as Acts of the Marian Symposium in Fatima, Portugal in
the year 2007, addresses central Christological issues bearing on the meaning
and consequences of the Redemption, those arising from an incorrect or total
lack of understanding of the mystery of Marian coredemption. Such aberrations
as patripassianism, liberation theology, Kantian transcendentalism substituted
for scholastic metaphysics, soteriological substitutionism and the Protestant
solus, reflect a deeply rooted Marian minimalism and rejection of Mary’s
prerogative as Coredemptrix. (id: aib-mfc035, 503 pp. laminated, gloss softcover)

What does Vatican II teach about Mary?
The book "Venerable Mother Agreda and the Mariology of Vatican II"
replies to the objections that Mother Agreda pushes an outdated Mariology. It
shows that the genuine teaching of the Second Vatican Council, far from being
different from Mother Agreda and her work, the Mystical City of God, is profoundly
and expressly anticipated by this jewel of Spanish and Franciscan Mariology.
Being profoundly Franciscan in her mariology, this book reaffirms the value
and the defense of the entire school of Franciscan Mariology which is characteristically
metaphysical, against those who oppose the figures of St. Maximilian, Padre
Pio and St. Bernardine of Siena and others The book refutes the claim that the
classical approach to Mariology by these saints has been superceded by the conciliar
biblical-historical" approach.

The Presence of Mary in the Crucifix of San Damiano and in the Office of the
Passion of St. Francis of Assisi
An in-depth scholarly study of the presence of Mary in the vocation, spirituality,

for this study is the Crucifix of San Damiano and the Office of the Passion
