Joanna Bogle, whose books and video series are enjoyed by EWTN audiences, now goes on-location in her British homeland to host "Tyburn Tree", a new EWTN Original Documentary. Tyburn Tree explores the history of one of 17th-century London's most infamous places of public execution. Tyburn Gallows, known to 17th-century Londoners as "The Deadly Never Green," was the site of the torture and death of over one hundred Catholic Martyrs in England. Bogle also takes use to nearby Tyburn Convent, home to a contemplative order of Benedictine nuns, and the guardian of the Shrine to the English Martyrs of the Reformation. The Convent preserves and honors the memory of those who suffered at Tyburn, including Sts. Edmund Campion and Robert Southwell.
